Description of the project
This game is a personal project I developed during the summer of 2024, with no connection to any academic or professional framework. "PRISM II" delves deeper into intrigue, introducing global threats, conspiracies, and tensions. I wanted to create a world where each mission poses a strategic challenge. This project is inspired by the FBI, but the main character comes from Ufa, Russia.
The main idea of the game
"PRISM II: Au cœur de l'ombre" is a first-person combat game. You play as an elite sniper working for the secret organization PRISM. The player embarks on a series of missions across the globe, aiming to eliminate high-profile targets to achieve global peace. Throughout the game, the player is contacted by Rustik Yemelyan Dimitrovich, the head of PRISM, to face new dangers in different countries.
The game combines strategy, stealth, and precision shooting. So far, missions are set in Aleppo, Caracas, Karachi, Mogadishu, and Mexico City, with more missions to come. The player faces various obstacles, with each mission offering different approaches, whether through stealth or direct confrontation. As the story progresses, the protagonist uncovers shocking revelations, unexpected alliances, and betrayals.
While primarily designed for PC players, console-compatible elements are also being integrated. The game is not yet finalized, but it aims to provide an incredible experience for players.
Publication date
I finished this game on August 1st 2024. I gave myself a challenge to make this game in a month.
Role(s) in the project
In this game project, I managed the entire development myself. I programmed the entire game and handled gameplay systems such as character movement, weapon-switching management, interactions with objects, and level progression. I also designed the levels myself, integrating and researching most of the elements and assets needed for the game. All the main ideas are my own. Additionally, I began implementing console compatibility, although this part is not yet fully complete.
Software used
For this project, I used one main software: Unity. I used Unity to implement the various assets I created, to program the game, and to publish it online.
As I had a limit of only a month to complete the game, I used Leonardo AI to generate images for the different menus and for the timelines that I made. I used ElevenLabs to generate the voices of the different people.
Programming language used
For the development of "PRISM II: Au cœur de l'ombre," I primarily used the C# programming language. During the project, I also took the time to learn and master Unity's new input system, especially for movements and actions in a first-person shooter like mine.
